Voice of George McFly revealed for 'Back to the Future: The Game'
by Stephen ClarkDecember 3, 2010
Telltale Games has revealed the concept art and the name of the actor providing the voice for the character of George McFly in the upcoming Back to the Future: The Game exclusively to BTTF.com.
After Telltale's new trailer debuted earlier today, it was revealed that Marty McFly's father George appears in the game, presumably briefly and voiced by someone other than Crispin Glover or Jeffrey Weissman who portrayed George in the films. Our inquiries resulted in Telltale sending us the following concept art for the character:

As we suspected, we're told that George McFly is not one of the largely seen characters in this new five-episode time travel adventure, and he is not voiced by one of the two actors already familiar to Back to the Future fans. In this continuation of the series, Marty's dad is being voiced by actor Michael X. Sommers:

Our research reveals that Sommers has appeared in a number of films (Bandits, Patch Adams, Mousehunt) and television episodes (Nash Bridges), as well as voicing characters in other video games ("Tiger Woods PGA Tour '06").
It's not too late to pre-order your copy of Back to the Future: The Game! Remember that $1 of every order goes to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and comes with access to Telltale's Insider Forum access and a free copy of their Puzzle Agent game. This isn't a 'timeless' offer, so hurry — you're almost OUTATIME!
